Aegis Media takes over search engine marketing agency Checkit
Amsterdam, April 9 2008 ? On April 9, 2008 Aegis Media became the full owner of Checkit. The search engine marketing agency will be part of Isobar, the digital marketing network of Aegis Media. On the Dutch market Checkit is in the top three in the field of search engine marketing. With this takeover the Isobar network definitively confirms its position as market leader in the Netherlands. Together with the 40 Checkit specialists Isobar now has approx.150 employees who together represent all disciplines of digital marketing. The present management of Checkit will remain connected to the company. Also, Checkit will continue to exist as a brand name next to the other 5 agency brands (among which also search engine marketing agency iProspect) that together form the Dutch Isobar network.
